Northeast Health Group began as a discussion group in Boston. We would meet informally once every other week to discuss different strategies for our health–from healthy recipes to fitness ideas to substance abuse guides. Gradually, our group started to get a little bigger, and then we started this blog. Our goal with this blog is to bring our message to the world.
We believe that health and wellness needs to be a more primary focus in America. We believe that as Americans, we spend too much time treating symptoms instead of practicing preventive medicine and holistic wellness.
We believe that Americans should be focusing on proper mental and emotional health, eating nutritious foods, exercising appropriately, and having the appropriate screening tests performed each year. We are advocates for things like massage, energy healing, chiropractic, acupuncture, etc., and we are open to exploring all possibilities when it comes to wellness.
